In 2000, Nicole received an unexpected diagnosis of MS. Determined to take control of her own health, she applied her research skills to crafting a lifestyle rooted in natural remedies, deep connection with nature, and daily gratitude.

Through profound lifestyle changes and her own handcrafted remedies, she transformed her reality—going from bedridden to fully alive, from merely surviving to truly thriving. She hasn’t taken a single MS drug in over 20 years.

Her remarkable journey led her to the world of television in 2015, when she became one of the first women selected for the History Channel’s hit show Alone. She went on to survive 57 days entirely on her own in the wilderness, relying on little more than the plants she found around her.

Natural remedies gave her a second chance at life, and now she’s on a mission to help others discover their own path to healing. That mission is what inspired this book.
